Make it an Etsy Christmas 2009

In an effort to promote handmade items this Christmas, I have contacted a number of Etsy shops to fill out a questionnaire that I created. What started out as a fun idea has really given me a cool look behind the curtain as to what goes into the items made on Etsy. Many of the families that sell their items on Etsy put great love into the items they create.

Over the month of December I will be sharing these questionnaires with my readers in hopes that they will find a connection to the families behind the items they create. This Christmas, especially, it is important to support families that are just like yours by buying these handmade items. By purchasing from these etsy shops we are not only supporting our local economy, but we are supporting quality products and materials.

The shops that I am focusing on are geared toward babies, and each shop has a great respect for the environment. These shops use natural materials, recycled items, and are conscious about the by-products of the items they sell.

This Christmas I encourage you to not only buy Etsy handmade items for your children, but also look into the many items available for your husbands and wives, siblings, parents, grand parents ,aunts and uncles, and friends. Etsy is truly a one stop shop. Your friends and family will love the beautiful handmade items that they are given this year, they will truly be one of a kind!

*As part of the Etsy X-mas Event this month, keep an eye out for several great giveaways and discounts to the shops I am promoting!
